Ukraine International Airlines’ (UIA) primary business is providing passenger and cargo transportation. Through its partner network UIA serves over 3,000 destinations offering best same-day connections at competitive prices. Today Ukraine International has more than 40 representative offices in Ukraine and abroad; the commercial network covers 70 countries.

Safety is the absolute priority for UIA. Ukraine International is the first airline in CIS that was registered in IOSA register – the single international quality certificate issued by special IATA program. This confirms the high level of the aviation safety and fleet reliability of the airline. UIA’s Technical Division performs full technical maintenance on western aircraft types. According to Boeing’s statistics, UIA is the only airline in the CIS that provides full technical maintenance for its own fleet. Airline also provides technical services for a number of airlines in the region: Dneproavia (Ukraine), Belavia (Belarus), Air Zena (Georgia), etc.

History
It was established in 1992 as a closed joint stock company. The shareholdings in Ukraine International Airlines are as follows: State Property Fund of Ukraine - 61.6%, Austrian Airlines - 22.5%, Aer Cap- 6% and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - 9.9%.

Cargo
UIA transports cargo on all its scheduled flights and provides fast and safe carriage of different cargo types: perishable, fragile, valuable, dangerous goods, as well as heavy and oversized freight, diplomatic mail and live animals.
Working partnership with other airlines allows UIA to extend the network to arrange cargo transportation to/from Ukraine to/from any airport worldwide.

UIA's fleet currently consists of 18 modern Boeing-737 aircraft offering Business and Economy class service.
Ukrainian hospitality, modern fleet, internationally trained and certified crew and other staff allow UIA to compete successfully in international markets.
